Inspiring Voices winners have now been selected

The Media Trust funded Inspiring Voices awards seek to celebrate and encourage the varied and inspiring ways in which communities are empowering themselves through the use of digital media.

This years entries have come from communities across the country all addressing their issues of disadvantage and isolation through a diverse range of media. Projects include a website developed to connect hospital patients to their friends and family; a radio station literally giving people with learning disabilities a voice over the airwaves to an animation developed by people with mental health difficulties.
